The Garden District in New Orleans was originally developed between 1832 and 1900 and is considered one of the best-preserved collections of historic southern mansions in the United States.  This is a painting of one of those beautiful old historic mansions.

Anne Rice does not live there anymore.  She once did during the writings of most of her vampire books.
